Fishtank Agency is featured in Creativepool’s much anticipated Annual 2018 shortlist in the Web category!

In a striking pastiche of Trainspotting, Creativepool poked fun at the frustrations encountered in the industry everyday. Asking the industry to choose creativity, the shortlist is a spectacular collection of ideas, campaigns and people that chose fresh thinking, groundbreaking initiatives, incredible film, print and innovation in the face of mundane tasks of everyday work life.

As a reflection of an industry that is becoming increasingly digital and to acknowledge the shift of in-house teams taking more prominence, the Annual 2018 shortlist features work from Fishtank Agency and many other brands and agencies around the world.

With 27 categories shining a light onto the best creative work, a further 10 categories in the Annual 2018 award the people, teams and companies that bring creativity to the forefront. Creativepool is honouring the emerging talent, the leading influencers and the best brands and agencies with the much anticipated titles of Influencer of the Year, Newcomer of the Year, Agency of the Year and Brand Team of the Year. Creativepool will also acknowledge the Best Place to Work across Agencies, Brands, and Recruitment Agencies.

The Judges

Top level creatives and marketers from agencies and brands around the world make up the judging panel for the Creativepool Annual 2018. A collective rich in diversity and expertise, the judging panel spans 18 countries and four continents with panelists from Unilever, Ogilvy, eBay, Framestore, The Engine Group, Twitter, Sony Music, Interbrand, Publicis and more.

People’s Choice

Embracing the universality of creativity, Creativepool democratises its awards by enabling its entire online community to name a winner through an electrifying People’s Choice vote. The People’s Choice winners will be showcased alongside the judges winners in the Annual 2018.

Welcoming Gemma to the Fishtank Team

I’m two and a half months into my role at Fishtank and what a two and a half months it has been – never a dull moment working on various different projects, sometimes all at once, and I have enjoyed every minute! 

No two days are the same – one minute we’re on a conference call with our clients in the US discussing up and coming projects and the next we are scoping a new website with a small, local, family run business, all the time working with a very talented bunch here at Fishtank Agency (they paid me to say that!)

I come from a strong agency background with vast experience of working in both B2B and B2C markets, so I bring a wealth of knowledge to my role of Senior Account Manager. My key focus is supporting and working with our clients to help deliver marketing solutions tailored to their objectives and requirements but also supporting Damien with the growth of Fishtank and our own strategy and business objectives. 

We really do have wonderful clients, we feel like part of their team, there are no barriers to how we work together which is refreshing to see and our clients respond well to our approach to work.

There are some exciting times ahead for Fishtank and I am thrilled to be part of the team to enjoy them.
