Stephenson Group has become world famous for developing the original ‘Crystal Melt & Pour’ soap base. Along with the creation of uniquely patented technology, Stephenson Personal Care also drives the supply of Certified Organic, natural and sustainable formulations in extruded soap and liquid soap bases. The challenge was to modernise the Stephenson Group and Personal Care profile so that it reflects their positioning as a world leader in creative chemistry. Fishtank Creative formulated a digital strategy and brand collateral to build on their continued success.
Initially Fishtank Creative assessed the Stephenson Group portfolio and what was apparent from the start was that the group mark needed to be more aligned with its sub brands: Alkon Solutions, Personal Care, Innovation and Stephenson Direct (e-commerce platform). We created a colour palette of 3 colours that could be used on all mediums and brands to allow the product and location photography to speak for itself. A catalogue of iconography was put together to simplify the complexity of the chemistry process and the primary and secondary fonts, Brandon Grotesque and Din were standardised throughout. Consequently an icon in the word Stephenson was devised for each brand to differentiate each service offered by Stephenson Group.
